William H. Powell has received degrees in Piano Performance and Piano Accompanying/Chamber Music from Virginia State University, Eastern Michigan, and New Mexico State University. He is a frequent performer in chamber music and small ensemble as well as solo piano concerts. In addition, he appears regularly as accompanist for musical theatre productions at the University of Florida and throughout North Florida. Critics acclaim his flawless technique, and incredible expression with which he plays even the most simple of melodies. "He weaves a web of total tonal enchantment when his fingers touch the keys..."
