The CD contains such favorites as the "Moonlight Sonata" by Ludwig van Beethoven, the gently flowing Impromptu Op. 90, No. 3 in G flat major by Franz Schubert, the dreamy Traumerie of Robert Schumann, the beautifully melancholy Consolation No. 3 in D flat major by Franz Liszt, and the title song Clair de Lune by Claude Debussy, to name a few. AS THE DEER, (Psalm 42:1) A SPIRITUAL JOURNEY Piano Music of Faith, Inspiration and Hope is the second in the "Piano Meditation" series performed by pianist William H. Powell. It is a compilation of favorite hymn melodies and contemporary Christian songs, including "In His Time" by Diane Ball, "Lord, I Lift Your Name On High" by Rick Founds, and the title song of the CD "As The Deer" written by Martin J. Nystrom and based on Psalm 42, Verse 1. "As the deer panteth for the water, so my soul longeth after Thee" The CD is dedicated lovingly and with great appreciation to Maurice R. and Theodora T.
